Grocery Cart Attendant · Part Time · Dierbergs Markets Grocery Cart Attendants are helpful and on-the-go, assisting cashiers with loading carts, and helping the store run smoothly. They are important in making a first (and lasting) customer experience with a variety of responsibilities:
* Retrieve carts from the parking lot using a cart strap and safety vest
* Offer to carry out and load purchases into customers' vehicles
* Pick up and dispose of debris from the carts, floor and parking lot
* Distribute hand baskets around the store
* Put misplaced or returned items in their proper locations
* Assist in maintaining aisle conditions
* Help to keep check lanes organized and stocked with essentials, such as paper and plastic bags
* Sweep and mop floors when maintenance is not available
