Position Summary: To conduct, maintain, test and repair electrical/electronic systems and components in accordance with the repair stations, FAA's and manufacturer's airworthiness and maintenance standards. This position is "safety sensitive"; there for all FAA required compliance will be followed.
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform all maintenance in accordance with FAA approved data and to the standards of good workmanship as required by Airbus DS Military Aircraft, Inc.
Keep safety of flight in the forefront at all times in the production of an airworthy product.
Perform routine or special maintenance inspections to prevent failure of aircraft electrical and avionics systems and components; perform complete operational and functional checks on navigation, communication and flight control systems including instrumentation and pitot static installations, etc.
Fabricate wiring harnesses, installs/modifies avionic and electrical systems.
Determine when a component should be repaired or replaced; decide necessary repair schemes and quantity and type of parts needed to accomplish proper repair.
Follow approved maintenance procedures, consulting internal procedures and technical data FAA approved.
Perform serviceability tests on repaired components/systems using test equipment specified by the original equipment manufacturer.
Complete work package documentation with sign off after finishing all designated operations.
Perform installation of avionic equipment.
Interpret avionic/electrical wiring diagrams, wire identification, harness fabrication, wiring and cable integrity, coax cables and fittings and connector assemblies.
Adjust, repair, or replace malfunctioning components or assemblies, using hand tools and soldering equipment.
Install electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems in aircraft, using hand tools, power tools, and soldering equipment.
Interpret flight test data to diagnose malfunctions and systemic performance problems.
Set up and operate ground support and test equipment to perform functional test of electrical and electronic systems.
Troubleshoot, repair, rework, and modify worn or defective assemblies, components or systems.
Suggest improvements to processes and procedures.
Satisfy work schedule requirements.
Plan and perform work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical theories and principles, specifications, local and national electrical codes, properties of various materials, and principles of operation and application of electronic equipment.
Advise operators and line mechanics of operation procedures and requirements for working safely with electrical/electronic and mechanical equipment and components.
Inform appropriate management and line mechanics of potential electrical/ mechanical problems and inherent dangers involved.
Perform preventive maintenance functions as directed.
Assist maintenance personnel with technical troubleshooting.
Assist and train other maintenance and/or other technical level employees.
Maintain all hangar and shop tools and equipment in a serviceable condition.
Ensure assigned work area is kept clean and free of hazards to both personnel and the aircraft.
Follow all necessary safety precautions; hearing and eye protection, use of chemicals, engine and propeller hazards, fall protection, etc.
As a "safety sensitive" position, this position requires that the employee be able to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner as an essential job function.
Comply with OSHA Safety Regulations.
Participate in on-the-job training as required.
Observe safety procedures and personnel policies.
Regular attendance required as outlined in company policy.
Additional Responsibilities:
Education:
Certified by FAA with a current Airframe and Power Plant license is preferred.
FCC 2nd Class License preferred
3-5 years of proven experience in the electrical/electronics, and the ability to demonstrate proficiency in these areas.
Proficiency with interpretation of avionic/electrical wiring diagrams, wire identification, harness fabrication, cables, fittings, circuits and connectors.
Thorough knowledge of electrical/ electronic components and equipment including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes.
Ability to inspect and install digital avionics equipment.
Ability to work quickly and efficiently while ensuring quality work.
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands and fingers to handle or feel, talk or hear and have good visual abilities.
Will often be required to sit, climb or balance and work in close quarters.

The Mechanic is responsible to help maintain the equipment/ fleet and support repairs both at the warehouse and in the field at construction sites. The purpose of the position is to properly maintain and repair equipment in order to maximize its return on investment. This position will work to have all available equipment serviced and ready to be deployed into the construction field at time of need. The individual will also be available for any field service "breakdown" calls where expedited service is needed to support the construction projects and help them maintain their schedule. In this role you may be required to travel up to 40% of the time.
Responsibilities:
Inspect each piece of requested equipment for safe dependable operation prior to site delivery. Make necessary service or repair to ensure each machine is ready for safe operation.
Coordinate any field service repairs, breakdowns or required maintenance with the site Superintendent which may include troubleshooting problems on the phone or site visit for inspection of downed equipment. Order and collect necessary parts to make the suggested repairs. Test the equipment repair and report the completion status to the Superintendent.
Evaluate all necessary repairs to each piece of equipment and determine the degree of the repair as well as an estimate of costs for the repair. Determine if the repair is billable to the user or general maintenance.
Create and maintain service schedules and records. Each repair includes parts costs and labor hours worked. If repair is deemed billable to the construction site , pass information to administration personnel to create the billable charges invoice.
Order and warehouse parts and preventive maintenance items frequently used in the maintenance of our equipment fleet.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED preferred
2-3 years of experience in electrical tooling, gasoline/diesel powered equipment with an extensive mechanical background
Experience effectively working directly with customers
Experience with hand and air tools
Valid Driver's License
Acceptable MVR with clean driving history

Job DescriptionSalary:
The Journeyman Mechanical Engineer - Structural will develop innovative designs to challenging engineering problems for a wide variety of applications including but not limited to structural engineering. The Mechanical Engineer will perform as a task lead on many tasks and as an individual contributor in others. The Mechanical Engineer will develop detailed design criteria from customer requirements and use strong engineering principles and tools to develop robust and reliable solutions. Designs are expected to include hardware such as test fixtures, custom mechanical assemblies, pressure vessels, piping systems, weldments, etc. The Mechanical Engineer will regularly coordinate with engineers from other disciplines and backgrounds to ensure proper design integration. Additionally, the engineer in this role will work closely with designers and operators to ensure designed hardware is manufacturable and maintainable. The Mechanical Engineer will mentor and train junior engineers through on-the-job training and dedicated mentorship activities.
Perform task lead activities to ensure proper due diligence for designs within the Mechanical Engineers responsibility.
Lead and mentor junior engineers to develop strong problem solving, critical thinking, and engineering processes.
Develop innovative designs for custom mechanical and structural hardware.
Develop design documentation such as presentations, white papers, calculation packages, reports, etc.
Perform review of design documentation from other ATS and third-party engineers.
Present designs and design progress for customer review and feedback.
Perform structural and possibly aerothermal, thermal-structural, and flow analysis using hand calculations or appropriate software tools to validate mechanical designs.
Requirements:
5+ years of relevant experience
BS in engineering or related field (equivalent experience may be accepted)
Secret DoD Clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret DoD Clearance
Desired experience with ANSYS or ABAQUS, RISA, Revit, CAESAR, AFT Fathom, AFT Arrow/Fathom, and MATHCAD
Familiarity with CAD modelling, drawing development and GD&T
Experience applying engineering codes and standards such as ASME BPVC, ASME B31.3, AISC 360-10, AWS D1.1, ASME Y14.5, etc.

Position Summary: To conduct, maintain, test and repair electrical/electronic systems and components in accordance with the repair stations, FAA's and manufacturer's airworthiness and maintenance standards. This position is "safety sensitive"; there for all FAA required compliance will be followed.
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform all maintenance in accordance with FAA approved data and to the standards of good workmanship as required by Airbus DS Military Aircraft, Inc.
Keep safety of flight in the forefront at all times in the production of an airworthy product.
Perform routine or special maintenance inspections to prevent failure of aircraft electrical and avionics systems and components; perform complete operational and functional checks on navigation, communication and flight control systems including instrumentation and pitot static installations, etc.
Fabricate wiring harnesses, installs/modifies avionic and electrical systems.
Determine when a component should be repaired or replaced; decide necessary repair schemes and quantity and type of parts needed to accomplish proper repair.
Follow approved maintenance procedures, consulting internal procedures and technical data FAA approved.
Perform serviceability tests on repaired components/systems using test equipment specified by the original equipment manufacturer.
Complete work package documentation with sign off after finishing all designated operations.
Perform installation of avionic equipment.
Interpret avionic/electrical wiring diagrams, wire identification, harness fabrication, wiring and cable integrity, coax cables and fittings and connector assemblies.
Adjust, repair, or replace malfunctioning components or assemblies, using hand tools and soldering equipment.
Install electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems in aircraft, using hand tools, power tools, and soldering equipment.
Interpret flight test data to diagnose malfunctions and systemic performance problems.
Set up and operate ground support and test equipment to perform functional test of electrical and electronic systems.
Troubleshoot, repair, rework, and modify worn or defective assemblies, components or systems.
Suggest improvements to processes and procedures.
Satisfy work schedule requirements.
Plan and perform work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical theories and principles, specifications, local and national electrical codes, properties of various materials, and principles of operation and application of electronic equipment.
Advise operators and line mechanics of operation procedures and requirements for working safely with electrical/electronic and mechanical equipment and components.
Inform appropriate management and line mechanics of potential electrical/ mechanical problems and inherent dangers involved.
Perform preventive maintenance functions as directed.
Assist maintenance personnel with technical troubleshooting.
Assist and train other maintenance and/or other technical level employees.
Maintain all hangar and shop tools and equipment in a serviceable condition.
Ensure assigned work area is kept clean and free of hazards to both personnel and the aircraft.
Follow all necessary safety precautions; hearing and eye protection, use of chemicals, engine and propeller hazards, fall protection, etc.
