Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Collaborate with Project and Fleet Managers to assess equipment needs and identify cost-effective repair solutions. Schedule and perform preventative maintenance and repairs to ensure fleet and equipment readiness. Maintain accurate records of repairs, including parts used and labor hours for each asset. Work within monthly and annual shop budgets. Safely and efficiently perform mechanical work using standard hand and power tools. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic issues using diagnostic software. Operate a service truck to complete off-site repairs as needed. Maintain organization of the shop and assist with general upkeep of shop and office areas. Assist with other duties and special projects as assigned.
