The primary responsibility of this role is to support production by performing diagnostics and repairs regarding all electrical and control aspects of equipment in a chemical manufacturing plant. The mechanic will diagnose trouble or malfunctions of equipment and then repair, maintain, replace and install all parts and equipment to return the process to normal operation. The mechanic applies working knowledge and experience to improve maintenance techniques and operations, and upgrade equipment. The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: Test, troubleshoot and repair electronic equipment and electrical circuits by using specialized instruments such as multi-meters, wiggies, clamp-on ammeters, oscilloscopes and frequency meters and computers Install specialized troubleshooting equipment for diagnostics Troubleshoot process control computer systems, including but not limited to DCS, Modicon & Siemens PLC, ControlLogix, and RSLogix using portable computers; troubleshoot temperature, level, and pressure control instruments and processors; troubleshoot AC or DC variable speed drives. Details: The Ultra Care Technician I is responsible for performing regularly scheduled maintenance of industrial batteries and related products at the client site. Details: Responsibilities: Represents the company in a neat and professional manner in accordance with company standards. Practices safety and good housekeeping in all circumstances. Performs battery inspections, battery watering, battery washing, and full-scale inspection including recording of cell voltages and specific gravities. Performs watering system installations. Conveys information to proper customer contacts. Safely operates a service vehicle and keeps it in good working order. Operates a forklift and reach truck on a regular basis. Recognizes and addresses safety and EPA issues. Safely and correctly processes non-potable water recovered by the battery wash. Tests for and analyzes results of acidity level of water (pH). Performs voltage testing and pressure washing of battery. Maintains an accurate assigned parts inventory. Actively promotes point of sale items and allied products and services. Follows assigned schedule to ensure regular product maintenance. Complies with company policies and procedures (regarding issues such as warranty, safety, environmental, OSHA, and hazmat). Ensures work orders are filled out properly and submitted in a timely manner. Establishes and maintains good working relationships with customers. Communicates with others (supervisor, company technicians or other departments, as needed), to coordinate necessary repairs or either resolve customer complaints or seize opportunities. Reach truck operation, experienced or will train. Safety training for Spill Containment and Lead Level. FRED electrical training will be provided. Basic charger training (industrial batteries and their chargers, DC cables and displays) will be provided. Clean and current Driver's license (MVR check) in the applying State. Basic understanding of electricity/electronics. Has the experience and ability to safely complete all tasks of a Shop Technician III without supervision. Experience: 1-3 Years of experience involving battery industry or related experience, preferably within a field service environment. Prior sales or customer service in a field service environment, strongly preferred. Compensation: $18/hr DOE

Job Summary The Field Forklift Technician will be responsible for inspecting, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing various Material Handling Equipment (MHE). Key Job Responsibilities Perform routine preventative maintenance on Material Handling Equipment (MHE). Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair MHE including, but not limited to: Liquid Propane, Gas and Diesel engines, Transmissions, Hydraulic Systems, Steering Systems, Electrical Systems, and Brakes. Read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications. Provide Information and recommend services to the Sales team. Manage work orders (paper and digital) for each job in a timely manner. Perform hazard assessments and maintain a high standard of safe work practices and quality control. Follow company and OSHA safety rules and guidelines. Avoid injuries and damage to property, loss of unused materials and clean-up of work area debris. Completes all necessary company training in a timely manner. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
