We are looking for a skilled Small Engine Mechanic to assemble, maintain and repair concrete construction machinery along with handling the repair schedule and work orders. You will be responsible for ensuring functionality and reliability of machines, engines and mechanical systems. An excellent mechanic must have manual dexterity and great attention to detail. They must be able to work with various machines and tools as well as follow all safety precautions. Experience in concrete construction or the construction industry is recommended but not required.
Pay: $21.00 - $27.00 per hour
Duties
Responsibilities
Maintain service schedule.
Type up work orders.
Build and assemble machines or mechanical components according to requirements.
Inspect machines, engines, transmissions etc. and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues.
Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability.
Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner.
Perform thorough maintenance on machinery, equipment and systems.
Clean and apply lubricants to machinery components.
Replenish fluids and components of engines and machinery.
Provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventative measures to machine or vehicle users.
Keep logs of work and report on issues.
Undertake other warehouse duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications Required Skills/Abilities:
Must own tools applicable to position
Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
Extensive knowledge of construction equipment with an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams
Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
Education and Experience:
High School diploma, Trade school certificate preferred
Experience in field service, maintenance and repair preferred
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record. Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to move, stand, stoop and bend freely
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
Field Technicians may be required to be clean shaven in order to enter worksites for EquipmentShare customers who have this requirement
This is a safety sensitive position and any offer of employment will be contingent on passing a 10 panel drug screen

**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
+ Correct all equipment deficiencies and perform preventative maintenance on company owned equipment as directed by management.
+ Ability to perform thorough inspection of equipment and identify unsatisfactory condition.
+ Full compliance with mandatory PPE requirements during all work-related activities and tasks
+ Travel to other locations to perform repairs and maintenance on equipment as required.
+ Completes and submits all associated paperwork as required for tracking PM schedules.
+ Maintain active light duty or DQ driver status as per mobile vehicle type.
+ Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management.

Depending on experience, education, and ASE Certification a Senior Automotive Mechanic can make between $75,000 and $100,000 per year. We offer top of the line medical, dental, and vision insurance. What are the work Expectations?
Duties/Responsibilities
Identifies mechanical problems, either visually or with computer diagnostic equipment.
Performs tests on specific parts and systems to confirm proper mechanical function; ensures that all critical parts are examined.
Performs routine and preventive maintenance, including oil changes and tune-ups.
Repairs or replaces malfunctioning parts and systems, such as brake pads, belts, water pumps, transmissions, and other mechanical parts.
