What You'll Do: * Performs duties assigned under the direction of Shop Manager to ensure the team is aligned to the goals and objectives for the team for each day. * Perform and oversee the disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of pumps, compressors, turbines, gearboxes, and related rotating equipment. * Troubleshoot mechanical issues and lead root cause analysis on equipment failures. * Interpret technical drawings, OEM manuals, and repair specifications. * Ensure proper documentation of repair findings, measurements, tolerances, and parts used. * Represent OTC professionally and build strong customer relationships. * Follow safety protocols and stay current through ongoing training. * Handle emergency service calls with speed and precision to keep operations moving. * Be flexible and ready to take on additional responsibilities as needed. What You'll Need: * High school diploma or GED. * Mechanical aptitude; multi-craft experience a plus. Proficient in using precision measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, dial indicators). * Strong understanding of mechanical fits, tolerances, and alignment procedures. * Familiar with API, ANSI, and OEM standards related to rotating equipment. * Strong communication skills. * Self-starter with a positive attitude and organized work habits. * Valid driver's license; able to pass drug test and background check. * Physical ability to sit, stand, and bend for extended periods. * Coachable and eager to learn.
