Maintain school buses and all other district-owned vehicles and equipment in operable and safe condition.
Follow district student management plan.
Submit all required reports in a timely manner.
Perform preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment.

Close out each completed work order and submit all associated paperwork.
Follow district policy concerning uniforms.
Clean shop floors, stalls, driveways, tools, and equipment.

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, performing, and evaluating all service and repair activities of equipment, related tools, and vehicles in a safe, timely, and cost efficient manner; perform related work as required.

- Demonstrate efficient improvement of light-duty landscape equipment (e.g.,3 wheelers, compactors, power brooms), heavy-duty landscape equipment (e.g., trenchers, skid steers, chain saws), and related tools;
- Be able to rely on manufacturer diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, the internet, and specifications to guide proper troubleshooting, repair, or replacement;
- Proficient use of hand tools, power tools, and precision-measuring and testing instruments;

A Brief Overview
A Technician Trainee will be trained and educated to become a proficient auto glass technician.
