The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in mechanics and a willingness to learn from experienced professionals. Key Responsibilities: Assist in diagnosing and repairing vehicles, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks. Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Use hand and power tools to complete repairs and maintenance tasks. Keep accurate records of services and repairs completed. Communicate effectively with senior mechanics and customers about the condition of vehicles. Continuously learn and develop new skills under the guidance of senior team members Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: Basic understanding of automotive systems and repair techniques. Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and good problem-solving skills. Good communication skills and a positive attitude. Previous experience in automotive repair is a plus, but not required. Skills: Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance, repair, and diagnostic procedures. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment. Understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems (preferred). Ability to read and follow technical manuals, diagrams, and work orders. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills for coordinating with drivers, supervisors, and other technicians. Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple maintenance tasks. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, procedures, and equipment. Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Basic computer skills for completing digital maintenance logs and service reports. Working Conditions: Full-time position, Monday through Friday 12pm-9pm with occasional Saturday's. Travel, evenings, and weekend hours may be required. Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and tools. Ability to stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods of time.
