As a Diesel Technician, Trailer Technician, or Reefer Technician, your role will involve a variety of important tasks, including:
Preventative maintenance on trailers, trucks, refrigeration units, and APUs
Brake replacements, suspension repairs, and DOT/FHWA inspections
Diagnosing electrical systems & ABS brake system repairs
Tire services, including mounting, dismounting, balancing, and flat repairs
Structural repairs on trailers, rear door replacements, and washouts
Troubleshooting APUs and providing road service calls
Maintaining a clean and organized shop, as well as servicing company vehicles
Safely operating forklifts, hoists, and other tools
Performing additional duties and responsibilities as needed

Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment.
Estimates time and material costs on vehicle repairs and new parts.
Perform your work within our Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs).
Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns.
Safety checks on vehicles - the safety of every single employee and the people in our communities is our number one priority
Complete required paperwork, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.
Completion of project work.
Reviews, completes, or assigns repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards and perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
