Performs remote triage to with RCRC and customers to determine best solution to assist roadside breakdowns.

A day-in-the-life of a Technician A :
Technician As complet e routine scheduled maintenance service on automobiles and trucks, as directed by a Manager or Service Advisor. They spend their day performing basic automotive repair, adjustments and maintenance procedures , including, but not limited to ; oil changes, tire replacement & r epairs and general vehicle maintenance.
In this role, a Technician A will also have the opportunity to :
P erform automotive repairs, adjustments and maintenance procedures as outlined on repair order s
Complete fluid exchanges, alignments, brake services, and advanced repair and maintenance services, electrical repairs, diagnostic repairs, drivability diagnostics, etc.
Drive vehicles into service bay, prepare them for and completes digital vehicle inspection
Test drives vehicles and prepare vehicle for delivery to customer after necessary repairs and maintenance are complete
Keep the shop clean and organized to ensure a positive member / customer experience

Job Summary: EMCOR Services CES has an immediate need for a HVAC Journeyman Mechanic in Washington, DC. The HVAC Mechanic trouble shoots, repairs, installs, and performs preventative maintenance on all the HVAC systems within the Central Utilities Plant (CUP), and other buildings related to the contract by performing the following duties. This is a journeyman position and requires mechanical, electrical, and plumbing aptitudes. This is a part time position. The hours are 9:00 AM to 9:00PM Saturday and Sunday and Holidays. This position is covered by the CBA for Local 99.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitors safe and efficient operations of HVAC/refrigeration systems in accordance with departmental requirements; corrects deficiencies according to PM/CM and manufacturers specifications.
Conducts preventive and corrective maintenance on all HVAC and refrigeration systems, as well as fan coil or dx units, and other equipment as assigned.
Installs and services new HVAC/refrigeration equipment. Perform all aspects of repairs to Air Handling Units (AHU) to include filter replacement, bearing replacement, motor replacement, belt replacement and proper alignment in accordance to OEM procedures.
Coordinates inspections, repairs and installation in consultation with staff in affected areas to minimize disruption of operations.
Complete Work Order and Preventative Maintenance (PM) paperwork in a timely and professional manner. Participates in the computerized maintenance management system for work and equipment documentation
Participate in the building management system. Monitor design parameters for status and efficiency. Assist in programming recommendations for the system.
Track refrigerant loss, procurement, and storage per government standards.
Install, maintain and repair all field devices for the Temperature Tracking System.
Participate in the testing of HVAC shutdown by duct smoke detectors.
Performs heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) maintenance on air conditioning units, fans, air handlers, water heaters, converters, duct work and system controls.
Request assistance from plumbers, painters, electricians, carpenters, and Building Engineers when necessary.
Coordinates inspections, repairs, and installation with staff and tenants in affected areas to minimize disruption of CNRIC operations.
Ensures compliance with department safety and quality standards to optimize effective utilization of resources and productivity.
Follow and implement standard Lock Out Tag Out procedures.
Complete Corrective Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance (PM) work orders in a timely and professional manner.
Attends weekly Tool Box safety meetings
Obtain OSHA 10 General Industry Safety and Health certification. (EMCOR provided training)

Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational or technical program in heavy equipment repair preferred.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a heavy equipment mechanic, including at least 2 years in construction equipment repair.
* Valid driver's license (CDL preferred or ability to obtain).
* Manufacturer or industry certifications (e.g., Caterpillar, John Deere, ASE Medium/Heavy Truck) highly desirable.
* Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions.

The employee must frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position which will typically involve 40+ hours a week. Due to the nature of the job, the employee must be available on-call early/late hours to deal with delays, bad weather and emergencies at the job site.
