Diesel Mechanic Position Summary:
This position is required to safely and accurately perform general property and vehicle maintenance & repair duties in and around the shop operations in a fast-paced environment. Diesel Mechanic Essential Functions:

Summary

Key Responsibilities:
+ + Provides maintenance and repairs for the fleet of Streetcars on a daily basis in order to meet fleet availability requirements

+ Supports Transportation staff in troubleshooting and towing disabled vehicles back to the MOF whenever required
+ Supports the Maintenance of Way working group whenever required
+ Reports all accidents, incidents, or unusual occurrences and accurately completes all required reporting and documentation
+ Diligently operates as an overseer of the Streetcar System in order to ensure a safe, secure and clean operation for the public and all employees and passengers

Responsibilities Body Shop Technician:
Perform structural and non-structural repairs on a variety of makes and models, including luxury and EV brands
Complete frame pulls, panel replacements, welding, body alignments, and dent repairs to OEM specifications
Disassemble and reassemble vehicles efficiently and accurately for repair and insurance documentation
Conduct aluminum and composite body repairs using manufacturer-approved procedures
Assist in pre- and post-repair scanning, ADAS calibration, and other diagnostic services as needed
Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow all safety protocols
Work closely with estimators, painters, and production staff to ensure quality and timely delivery
Help train/support junior techs; lead by example
Requirements Body Shop Technician:
2+ years of Body Shop/Collision Repair Tech experience required
A or B-level Technician with solid collision repair experience preferred
OEM and/or I-CAR certifications preferred (Tesla, Rivian, Ford, Jaguar/Land Rover a big plus)
Experience with aluminum repairs, EVs, or ADAS systems is a huge advantage
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a show up, do it right, go home proud mentality
