Conduct all levels of preventive maintenance functions such as regular servicing of vehicles including oil changes, and equipment inspections. Electrical diagnostics, repair, and replacement. Lead the physical parts inventory, receiving and proper charge out of parts to work orders. Learn and become proficient utilizing the company's maintenance software program to create and complete work orders. Inspect equipment for potential repairs and proper operation and perform quality checks of other technician's and outside vendor's work. Oldham County Stone is an underground limestone mine/quarry. This role requires previous experience as a mechanic working on heavy equipment. The role will be responsible for performing repairs, routine maintenance, and inspections on a wide variety of mining and quarry equipment and fixed plant equipment. The applicant must have a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair a wide range of service issues that affect major components such as engines, brake systems, transmissions, torque converters, hydraulic systems, drive train components, heating/cooling and electrical systems, as well as other systems generally encountered in the industry.
