Key Responsibilities:
Perform repairs and replacements on diesel engines, ensuring optimal functionality.
Assist A-Level and B-Level Mechanics in advanced diagnostic and repair tasks, contributing to efficient workflow.
Execute routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and optimize diesel engine performance.
Lead diagnostic tests to accurately identify complex issues and determine comprehensive repair strategies for diesel engines.
Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair tasks on diesel engines, including overhauling and rebuilding components to required specifications.
Assist with road calls and emergency services as necessary

Qualifications:

Position Overview:
Under supervision of the Maintenance Director and guidance from Technician As, the position of the Technician B is to maintain and repair vehicles. The Technician B is responsible for repairing and troubleshooting mechanical/electrical issues striving toward maximum reliability and functionality for both the Middletown and Centerbrook RVT locations. play a key role in maintaining the safety and efficiency of customer aircraft. You'll troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and perform maintenance tasks while working closely with clients to find solutions.
Troubleshoot, repair, install, inspect, and maintain aircraft.
Document work per manuals and regulatory requirements.
Follow safety and Environmental Health & Safety policies.
Participate in 5S activities to maintain a clean workspace.
Operate ground support equipment as required.
Perform mechanical/electrical component removals and installations.
Provide off-site maintenance support when needed.
Assist with fueling, engine removal/installation, and component repairs
Qualifications
Valid A&P license by the FAA
3 years of corporate
experience (Bombardier and Gulfstream preferred)
Own basic hand tools and manage tool inventory.
Ability to interpret mechanical engineering drawings.
Must obtain required Ground Support Equipment qualifications.
Willing to work unscheduled overtime, including weekends and holidays.
Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Basic PC skills.
Ability to obtain a SIDA badge (if applicable).

Job Description
This position is responsible for accurately fulfilling customer orders, and loading and unloading trailers going to and from both external and internal customers.
Essential Job Functions
Maintain and repair, as needed all mechanical work aspects of the animal housing area. Included but not limited to manure belts, feed and water machinery, egg removal equipment, fans, air-inlets, etc.
Be available at all times during egg processing in the event machinery needs repair.
Monitor feed, water equipment for efficiency, and make necessary repairs as needed.
Daily maintenance of manure belts and scrapers to assure they remain in good working order at all times. Inform manager immediately if belts or scrapers are not operating.
Daily checks of the lighting, replace bulbs as needed, and record as required.
Maintain a maintenance schedule as directed by manager.
Monitor all equipment regularly to be pro-active in preventing damage and make necessary repairs as recognized.
Troubleshoot problems and determine most cost efficient means of repair.
Maintain record of all repairs in a clear accurate manner.
Assist co-workers as needed in performing all Animal Caretaker job duties as needed.
