**A Snapshot of Your Day** Applies both electrical and mechanical related knowledge to test, diagnose, maintain, repair and modify developmental or operational machinery and control equipment in facility. Work requires an in-depth knowledge of various trades. Performs a wide variety of electrical and mechanical service work on equipment, machines and/or controls. Diagnoses, repairs and replaces equipment. Installs, maintains, and/or repairs equipment.
**How You'll Make an Impact**
+ Inspects and checks equipment for proper operating condition, makes necessary adjustments, logs test readings, and maintains, repairs, or replaces all essential equipment parts.
+ Read blueprints, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics, mechanical/electrical diagrams, and technical orders to determine methods and sequences of assembly.
+ Repair, rework, and calibrate hydraulic and pneumatic assemblies and systems to meet operational specifications and tolerances.
+ Operate metalworking machines to fabricate housings, jigs, fittings, and fixtures.
+ Conduct installation, operation, maintenance, and repair to ensure that machines and equipment are installed and functioning according to specifications.
+ Research, evaluate, install, operate, and maintain mechanical along with electrical products, equipment, systems and processes to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles.
**What You Bring**
+ Requires experience in electrical installation and maintenance work on plant electrical systems and equipment.
+ Requires experience in mechanical installation and maintenance work on plant systems and equipment.
+ Requires experience in hydraulics and pneumatics and a broad knowledge of controls and mechanisms.
+ 5+ years of experience in the maintenance field with a strong knowledge of plant maintenance.
+ Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Ensure that operations conducted under his control or supervision comply with the Company's HSE policies and/or governing agencies. Perform a variety of duties regarding installation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting and overhauling of machinery and/or mechanical equipment including but not limited to reciprocating gas compressors, natural gas fired engines, diesel engines and /or triplex and centrifugal pumps with minimal supervision Verifies dimensions, specifications, and tolerances using blueprints/manuals Ensures that mechanical equipment within a limited area of operations is properly installed, operating within design limits, repaired and maintained. Conduct field mechanical practices while providing the Company with the best probability of success in a timely manner while minimizing downtime and expenditures. Follow and adhere to company policy regarding bids, pricing agreements and procurement of materials and services. Recognize potential hazards to operations and provide protection for both human beings and equipment. Ensure that the required reporting and records of daily operations, daily costs, related material transfers, etc. are prepared and reported timely and accurately. Work within an enterprise asset management system (SAP) Mandatory call out schedule
Responsibilities
Required: 4+ years experience as a Mechanic working on engines, compressors and pumps preferably in an oil field environment Must have troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance knowledge. Must be able to understand, comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors in English
