MECHANIC must-haves:
The mechanic must have their own tools and be willing to travel to our job sites for equipment servicing. They will use the Durr vehicle for this purpose and must possess a valid driver's license and have a clear motor vehicle record (MVR), so they will not need to use their own gas.
The Mechanic must be ok or a road mechanic with experience in working on heavy equipment. The ideal candidate should be able to troubleshoot broken machinery and identify issues such as battery problems, wiring faults, or leaks in the field. This mechanic should also have skills in welding, changing tracks on machines, and, most importantly, diagnosing equipment problems.
Adheres to all safety regulations and reports any violations to field supervision immediately.

A Day in the Life
Interpret drawings, sketches, work scopes, and verbal instructions to determine the repair path.
Set up the required tooling, fixtures, and equipment; perform safe lifting and rigging using cranes and forklifts.
Disassemble, inspect, and precisely document components (inspection reports, photo logs, hold tags).
Alter, repair, and overhaul rotors, turbines, disc/blade holders, shafts, sleeves, gears, and couplings.
Use micrometers, indicators, calipers, and gauges to measure and record critical clearances and dimensions.
Reassemble and align equipment to specification, ensuring reliability and performance.
Maintain a clean, organized work area and present yourself professionally with internal and external customers.
Promote safety and quality at all times; collaborate effectively while operating independently when needed.
Document work performed and hand off clearly to maintain continuity among shifts.
What You Bring
High School Diploma or Equivalency.
5-8 years of hands-on experience with rotating turbomachinery (turbines, compressors, and related equipment).
Advanced rigging knowledge; proficient crane and forklift operations.
Advanced measuring capability and accuracy with precision instruments.
Ability to pass the annual dimensional inspection test.
Experience reading and applying procedures, specifications, and documentation for turbomachinery.
Comfort training others in repair processes and best practices.
