- Be able to rely on manufacturer diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, the internet, and specifications to guide proper troubleshooting, repair, or replacement;
- Proficient use of hand tools, power tools, and precision-measuring and testing instruments;
- Bed able to supply reviews / equipment reports;
- Complete a weekly operational evaluation on machinery to identify potential areas needing repair;
- Determine course of action required for repair/service and establish a timeline needed to complete;
- Be able to develops a list of parts needed and source from local supplier;
- lubricate and cleans parts / equipment on a weekly basis;
- Comply with all policies, procedures, and performance goals;
- Ensure that all safety laws, policies, and practices are met;
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards;
- Maintain service logs and records of preventative maintenance for all equipment;
- Demonstrate professional understanding of hazardous substances, PPE, and OSHA compliance;
- Provide excellent service (e.g., accurate, complete, and timely) to work-site crews, and company staff in a courteous and efficient manner.
