What We're Looking For

Prepares written documentation of work to be performed including but not limited to, bill of materials, stock in report, purchase requisition and computer documentation sheet.
Assembles pumps, motors, valves, controls, and subassemblies using required parts and components in a cost effective manner to conform to installation and performance specifications of original manufacture.
Mounts, couples or connects as required to test conformance of performance to original manufacture specifications.
Building and rebuilding of hydraulic power units and rebuilding of hydraulic, lubrication and pneumatic components for high precision metal cutting machines
Education/Experience:
Must be mechanically inclined
Preferred experience with Hydraulic components
Preferred experience micrometers and caliper measuring tools
Ability to read interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and other instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.
Must be able to regularly lift and/or move objects up to 25 lbs. consistently with heavier weight (70lbs) necessary at times.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Personal Protective Equipment:
Safety Glasses are required and steel toed work boots are required.
Other PPE equipment as required.
Work Environment:

Mechanic
A pre-employment physical and drug screen are required. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Carrying out routine truck and equipment maintenance and inspections
Maintaining a variety of vehicles and equipment
Troubleshooting and making general repairs
Using a variety of hand and power tools
Must acquire a Commercial Driver License (CDL)
Working outdoors in all weather conditions
Working at heights with the use of mobile equipment and ladders
Frequently standing, using hands to operate tools, handling or feeling, reaching with hands and arms, climbing or balancing, and talking or hearing. Occasionally walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
Works safely near and around highway traffic and noisy operations
Ability to lift or carry up to 30-50 lbs, and occasionally up to 100 lbs
