What the Job Looks Like Field maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of heavy equipment including excavators, loaders, dozers, skid steers, and support equipment Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and drivetrain issues with minimal oversight Perform inspections, servicing, and breakdown repairs directly on jobsites Assist with repairs on on-road equipment such as side dumps, end dumps, and related equipment as needed Perform welding and fabrication repairs on equipment, attachments, and components as required Service and repair demolition attachments (hammers, shears, grapples, buckets) when required Complete repairs in the field safely and efficiently to minimize downtime Identify recurring issues and recommend long-term corrective solutions Manage work independently from start to finish Position is Monday through Friday; overtime as workload requires What We're Looking For 3+ years of experience working on heavy equipment Advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Proficient welding and fabrication skills Comfortable being the primary mechanic in the field Own personal mechanic tools Valid driver's license required CDL preferred Must be physically capable of performing the duties of the position Safety-minded, dependable, and detail-oriented What We Offer Pay based on experience and skill level Health, Dental, and Vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan PTO / Vacation pay Paid holidays Company service truck provided Company-provided uniforms Monthly tool allowance Weekly pay This role is intended for a mechanic who is trusted to diagnose problems, make repair decisions, and keep equipment productive in real jobsite conditions.
