Shift/Schedule Requirements: Ability to work various shifts and days including nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.

Responsibilities:
Performs daily, weekly, monthly, annual, and other required inspections of amusement rides and related equipment as assigned, taking corrective actions as issues are identified. Inspections are visual as well as auditory.
Trouble shoots a variety of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems and takes appropriate corrective actions.
Properly follows all repair procedures and maintains accurate documentation of all repairs. Maintains orderly and accurate records of all required inspections and work performed and submits required paperwork to supervision in a timely manner.
Communicates the status of assigned rides both verbally and in written format.
Maintains all assigned equipment in a safe and ready condition according to all applicable codes, laws, rules, company policies, and best practices.
Reads, understands, and applies information from manufacturer's manuals for service, repair and or component replacement. Accurately reads blueprints (mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic). Completes proper documentation as required.
Interacts with and communicates with various groups and individuals, such as the immediate supervisor, other Park managers and staff, co-workers, guests, vendors, contractors, inspectors, etc.
Provides guest service according to Six Flags standards when serving the guest, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions, and giving directions.
Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Six Flags safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervisor.
Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
Adheres to Six Flags code of conduct including costuming and grooming standards as outlined in employees' Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Requires a vocational diploma in mechanical/industrial maintenance supplemented by a minimum of one year of experience in mechanical maintenance for a Level 1 Ride Mechanic, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Requires forklift and man lift certifications.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be comfortable working at heights up to 250ft.
Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.

Responsibilities
Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications
3+ years of Toyota/Lexus Dealership Service Technician experience required
High school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification required
B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair
Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment

Representative Functions
* Diagnoses, examines, and investigates vehicles to determine causes of defective operation of engines, transmissions, differential units, generators, starters, pumps, air suspension systems, pneumatic systems, passenger lift assemblies, radiators, injectors, clutches, air conditioning systems, and other vehicle components.
* Determines proper course of action to facilitate vehicle repair, maintenance, adjustment, and component replacement.
* Maintains, adjusts, and/or repairs all bus systems, components, and parts including hydraulic and electrical systems, brakes, front ends, and air conditioning systems to ensure the operational fitness of coaches.
* Performs major overhauls, major tune-ups, and repair to brakes and steering systems.
* Performs preventative maintenance and repair of all brands of passenger lifts on coaches.
* Changes windows and seats, and performs minor body repair.
* Operates buses in order to diagnose component failure, make roadside repairs, or move disabled buses.
* Operates forklifts, overhead cranes, hydraulic lifts, hoists and jacks, brake lathes, and tugs used for pulling disabled buses.
* Documents all work performed including record of repairs on driver's defect cards; submits daily lift status reports to supervisor and dispatch; records all repairs logs; and prepares and submits weekly reports to supervisor.
* Communicates, and consults with District staff from Transportation, Maintenance, and Materials.

Minimum Qualifications
Experience:Successful completion of the District's Apprentice Training Program as specified above,ORfour (4) years of recent and verifiable experience as a heavy equipment or automotive mechanic. An additional three (3) years experience as a Mechanic may be substituted for the post 12th grade portion of the educational requirement.
Education & Training: Equivalent to completion of the 12th grade, plus EITHERsuccessful completion of all eight (8) levels of the District's state certified four (4) year Apprentice Training program, as determined by assessment at each level;ORverified completion of an external two (2) year training program in automotive or heavy-duty truck maintenance and repair from an accredited trade or vocational school.

Special Requirements:
1. Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
2. Must have a clean driving record (you will be asked to submit a DMV "K-4" printout and meet the District's safe driving standards if deemed qualified)
3. If selected for the position, must obtain and maintain a valid California Class A or B commercial Driver License with Air Brake and Passenger Endorsements, and a Medical Certificate

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Mechanics are responsible for the work on all County Connection vehicles and equipment. These positions perform service, repairs, and adjustments to all components of vehicles. Higher journey-level Mechanics may serve as Lead Mechanic, providing technical guidance to employees, including instruction and training. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Performing on-going preventive maintenance inspections.
Providing general repairs necessary to mechanical equipment supplementary to vehicle repairs (i.e., shop compressors, scrubbing machines, etc.).
Removing and replacing air suspension systems, air systems, and radiators.
Removing and replacing fare box and door glass, bulbs, and wiper blades.
Realigning and adjusting brakes.
Removing or installing seats and glass.
Repairing and replacing hoses and belts.
Performing major rebuilding, repair, and/or removal and replacement of mechanical components including engines, transmissions, clutches, differential units, motor injectors, compressors, hydraulic brake systems, steering systems, and electrical systems.
Making road service calls
Maintaining written records of repairs and replacements
REQUIREMENTS:
Education equivalent to a high school diploma or general educational development (GED).
Must have completed one of the requirements below:
Diesel mechanic training program and one (1) year practical experience.
Two (2) to six (6) years journey-level experience as a heavy-duty mechanic.
Related experience that demonstrates abilities pertinent to specific job functions may qualify for substitution of the training program requirement.
All Mechanics must have and maintain the required tools, including a rollaway toolbox, to perform all duties.
Must be able to obtain a Class B Commercial driver's license, including the required endorsements and the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Examiner's Certificate.
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and equipment used to maintain a fleet of vehicles in a safe manner.

Position Overview:
Based at our American Canyon facility, Maintenance Mechanics are key to running a continuous operation with little to no downtime. This allows us to meet the demands of our customers and get our products on the shelf and into consumer's homes to enjoy. Keeping equipment in good working order is a must when it comes to producing the best quality products at the lowest cost. Multiple shifts and skill levels are needed.
Responsibilities:
* Proficient in start-up and change-overs for Line 1 and Line 2.
* Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
* Proficient in troubleshooting and repair of line equipment (7 major assets). Required to train new mechanics on the assets known.
* Adhere to all PPE, GMP, FPQ, and HACCP requirements to achieve food safety standards.
* Record and document all necessary data for maintenance program (PMs, WOs, Parts use, etc.).
* Complete 100% of required Alchemy trainings (Personal Safety and Food Safety Training).
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or GED is preferred
* Minimum 2 yrs. verifiable mechanical/electrical experience or coursework
* Must have good knowledge in the proper use of hand and power tools.
* Must understand safety rules especially LO/TO (Lock Out /Tag Out) procedures.
* Must follow direction from department Lead, Supervisor, or Manager.
