Responsibilities: Oversee the scheduling of maintenance and repair tasks for diesel vehicles and equipment, prioritizing work orders to minimize downtime and maximize fleet availability. Conduct diagnostic assessments and troubleshooting of diesel engines, drivetrain systems, and related components to identify issues and develop appropriate repair solutions. Perform complex repairs and maintenance tasks on diesel engines, including but not limited to engine overhauls, transmission repairs, and hydraulic system troubleshooting. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety awareness and adherence among team members. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including parts usage, labor hours, and equipment history, using digital systems and documentation procedures. Preferred systems would be Cummins Insite and Mack Tech Tool. Strong knowledge of diesel engine components, systems, and operating principles, with the ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively as part of a team. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required; CDL preferred .
