DieselMechanic Position Summary:
This position is required to safely and accurately perform general property and vehicle maintenance & repair duties in and around the shop operations in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge and understanding basic preventative maintenance and repair techniques of Class 5 through Class 8 commercial vehicles to include tank trailer inspection and maintenance related to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations is required.
DieselMechanic Essential Functions:
All fleet mechanic positions will be required to perform vehicle maintenance & repair duties safely and accurately in and around the shop operations in a fast-paced environment.
Fleet Mechanic Apprentices will receive hands on training and instruction on preventive maintenance/inspections/repairs of Class 5 through Class 8 Commercial Vehicles and maintenance/inspection of tank trailers.
Fleet Mechanic Levels I & II will learn and become proficient utilizing the company's maintenance software program to create and complete work orders and maintain work order/vehicle maintenance records. They will also train/assist other technicians in performing preventive/repair of facilities and equipment to include trucks, tractors, and trailers.
Fleet Mechanic Level III will build on the duties from DieselMechanic I/II and become qualified as necessary with appropriate certifications to perform new technology evaluations, diagnosis, and repairs.
HM183 will build on the duties of a Level III DieselMechanic, Certified as a (DOT) commercial motor vehicle inspector in compliance with FMCSR's
Has been signing test forms as the Registered Inspector for at least 3 years.

Valid Driver's License

We are hiring immediately for a full time A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) mechanic or AMT (Aircraft Maintenance Technician). This role is critical to our mission, so we are offering up to a $15,000 Sign On Bonus.
What you will be doing as an A & P Mechanic:
You can expect to conduct thorough inspections, maintenance, modifications, and repairs on Cessna and Beechcraft aircraft models. Your responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):
Mechanical Duties: Perform a variety of mechanical tasks on various aircraft models, including diagnosing malfunctions, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly, and adjustment of aircraft systems to prepare for flight and delivery
Engine and Airframe Maintenance: Perform troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of turbine engines, including engine run-ups. Carry out airframe system and component changes, systems checkout, and install service bulletins and kits on both airframes and engines
Use of Tools and Equipment: Utilize equipment such as tensiometers, micrometers, pressure gauges, dial gauges, vacuum gauges, timing lights, and various hand tools to repair or modify systems or assemblies
Qualifications
What you need to be successful:
High school education or GED required
A&P License required
Knowledge of 100-hour, annual, and progressive inspection procedures as per FAR 43 is required.
A minimum of 2 year's experience with diversified jet, turboprop, piston, modification, aircraft/flight maintenance

Your Responsibilities:
Complete all assigned service jobs with precision and dedication.
Collaborate with the Road Lead Mechanic, ensuring effective communication on any technical challenges or unusual service problems.

Submit daily paperwork promptly, including timecards and maintenance reports with customer signatures.

Grounds Mechanic The Maintenance Mechanic reports directly to the Cemetery Operations Manager and will demonstrate care in all dealings with families, staff, and internal/external contacts. Qualifications and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent with considerable knowledge and experience with a variety of equipment types and brands
Valid state issued driver's license, good driving record, and proof of insurance is required.
Small engine technical certificate preferred.
Experience maintaining and servicing small engine and heavy equipment through formal training and/or on-the-job equivalent experience as an equipment mechanic
Experience in the cemetery and funeral industry is a plus
Leadership experience is also a plus
Knowledge of the Catholic faith, rituals, and traditions, including understanding the Order of Christian Funerals
Possess a good-natured, flexible, and cooperative attitude

Compensation and Benefits This position is full-time on-site, 40 hours per week, at the Archdiocese of Milwaukee Catholic Cemeteries. Hourly rate of $28 per hour.
