Compensation ranges from $52,000 to $93,600 per year, based on experience and availability. Job Specifics Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in commercial buses, ensuring all systems are functioning properly. Perform engine rebuilds, routine maintenance, and inspections to ensure optimal performance of buses. Work with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, as well as complete brake repairs and other system-related issues Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to ensure buses are ready for safe and reliable operation Test bus performance and identify areas needing repair or replacement. Follow all safety protocols and regulatory guidelines while performing repairs. Maintain accurate service records and documentation of work performed. Ensure all repairs and maintenance tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner. Qualifications and ExperienceQualifications High School Diploma or GED. A minimum of 3 years of experience in diesel repair and maintenance, specifically for commercial buses. Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards. Experience ASE certification in Diesel Mechanics or related field. Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Over 5 years of experience in diesel repair, including experience with commercial bus systems Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical issues.
