Understands, keeps abreast of and complies with federal, state and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know etc.
Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
Reports any safety issues immediately to management.

Essential Duties:
Assists and participate in routine inspections and make modifications to natural gas engines and generators.
Performs load testing on units to identify possible problems.
Makes electrical and mechanical wiring modifications to control circuits.
Tests batteries, fuel, coolant, and oil; ship oil samples for analysis.
Completes all assigned tasks directed by shop mechanics.
