Will perform scheduled preventative maintenance, as well as non-scheduled maintenance repairs. Job duties and responsibilities: Adept at troubleshooting and diagnosing problems with mechanical equipment and possesses the ability to apply a resolution in a timely manner. Competently operates and maintains facility equipment with minimal guidance or assistance as directed by and in coordination with the Field and Production Manager. Proficiently performs duties of a Mechanical Technician in the operation of the combined equipment Maintains equipment by tightening fittings, replacing valve packing, gaskets, valves, and gauges. Cleaning, replacing, oiling, and lubricating other component parts and equipment as required. As required, proficient in completely overhauling valves, pumps, compressors, and other common equipment is essential. Preforms additional duties as assigned.
