Technician B: Demonstrates the ability to identify operating issues including examining, test driving and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems using standard testing procedures and computer diagnostic equipment. Education, Experience & Qualifications The successful candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, must be at least 18 years of age, hold a valid Class A, B, or C Driver's license and must be legally eligible to work in the United States. The candidate must have a minimum of 1-year experience inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing trucks and stationary equipment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, effective listening and problem-solving skills, and dedication to providing excellent customer service is desired. It is also important that the candidate has demonstrated the ability to work as part of a team in a collaborative environment. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including frequent lifting of heavy components, pushing, pulling, crouching, climbing and consistent standing, walking and grasping. What You'll Do As an Experienced Auto Repair Technician, you'll: Diagnose and repair a wide range of issues, including electrical systems, engines, transmissions, suspension, braking systems, and emissions systems. Utilize diagnostic and shop equipment to perform repairs in a safe and efficient manner. Conduct routine inspections and perform maintenance on vehicles. Adapt to new technologies and diagnostics in the rapidly changing automotive industry. Communicate effectively with service advisors and complete accurate repair orders. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. What We're Looking For ASE Certifications (or the willingness to obtain them). Experience in automotive repair and maintenance. Strong work ethic and a customer-focused approach. High school diploma or GED. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Full set of tools.
