This includes the insulation of cribbing and grid work to support the false bulkheads and overheads. * Understanding and using a variety of portable and hand tools used in the trade. Duties and Responsibilities: * Review details of the work package such as technical information, specification items, drawings, manuals, sketches, etc. * Skilled in layout, rip out, modification, installation, replacement, and repair of structures. * Perform all other duties as assigned. * Must adhere to applicable documents, references, and safety guidelines including, but not limited to the following: * ABS * MIL STD 2035 * MSC General Technical Requirements (GTR) * NAVSEA Standard Items * General Specifications/Overhaul of Ships * OSHA 2268 * Able to withstand environmental factors such as: * Outside weather conditions * High, precarious places * Exposed to fumes and airborne particles * Very loud noise level * Required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, feel, and reach with hands and arms on a regular basis. * Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. and seek assistance with weights over 50 lbs. * Occasionally perform other physical activities as required, such as: * Stooping * Bending * Squatting * Climbing (including but not limited to, vertical and incline ladders, masts, and kingposts) * Crawling (including but not limited to, through scuttles, manhole covers, tanks, and voids) Experience Requirements: * 3rd Class = 1 ½ - 3 years of experience working with Sheet Metal in a shipyard. * 2nd Class = 2 - 4 years of experience working with Sheet Metal in a shipyard. * 1st Class = 4 - 5 years of experience working with Sheet Metal in a shipyard. Other Requirements: * Must be able to pass Drug Screening, Work Ability Screening. * Must be able to obtain a Government facility security pass.

Your Role as a Service Technician: As a Service Technician at Tire Discounters, you'll perform various automotive services, including tire installation and maintenance, steering and suspension, alignments, brakes, engine diagnostic, drivability, and preventative, corrective, and routine maintenance services. You'll be key to ensuring the success of daily operations at your location. What You'll Do: * Provides accurate and timely quality vehicle inspection, maintenance and repairs, ensuring customer expectations are met or exceeded. * Test drive vehicles before and after repairs to ensure functionality and overall safety. * Maintain an organized, clean and safe work area. * Foster a collaborative team environment and assist as needed. Your Skills & Qualifications: * 2+ years of automotive repair experience (ASE certifications preferred but not required). * Must have own tools (tool purchase program available). * Ability to operate automotive vehicle lifts, shop tools and equipment (diagnostic scanner experience a plus). * Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills. * Ability to stand for long periods, bend, and lift up to 75 lbs. * Valid driver's license and availability to work Saturdays. * Comfortable with occasional exposure to mechanical hazards and outdoor conditions. * Authorized to work in the USA (18+). Compensation Pay: $50,000 - $175,000+ annually (hourly + commission). Our Service Technicians experience one of the best pay plans in the business!
