This is an experienced position that requires a CDL. Here are our minimum requirements for you to consider prior to filling out our application:

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Job Title: Underground Mechanic
Department: Site - Henderson (Colorado)
Reports to: Project Manager
This position is responsible for the maintenance and repair of surface and underground site, mobile equipment related to development. This includes but is not limited to Jumbos, Bolters, LHDs, underground pumps, and other utility equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Functional Responsibilities
Utilizes proper procedures for mechanical duties and strictly adhere to the project lock out policy
Follows established procedures in shutting down and disassembling equipment, replacing damaged or worn parts and reassembling equipment replacing damaged or worn parts and re-assembling and testing equipment to perform to required specifications
Inspects, lubricates, adjusts and reports any condition that may cause premature breakdowns
Repairs, rebuilds, modifies and/or adjusts equipment and parts to suit production requirements
Repairs and maintains all equipment in accordance with the preventative maintenance program
Ensure all required logbooks are maintained and updated
Submits oral and written reports relevant to job duties
Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in their workplace
Utilize the Cementation safety system as specified within the site safety management system
Other duties as assigned

Ensure work is completed in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner
Health & Safety
Work in compliance with all Health and Safety rules and regulations for Cementation

QUALIFICATIONS

A MECHANIC'S DAY-TO-DAY:
Abide by and maintain all safety procedures as required by Lucky Strike Entertainment and OSHA.
You are responsible for keeping the center equipment in full working order.
Fully understand how to operate all bowling equipment in the center
Adhere to all outlined preventative maintenance programs and monitor and perform daily center maintenance as instructed.
Take charge and ensure the shop and machine area is clean and organized.
Assisting the Senior Mechanic with the training of new Mechanics.
WHAT IT TAKES:
At least 1 year of Mechanical experience
High School Diploma with a strong emphasis on algebra, geometry, and applied mathematics (Optional)
Excellent communication skills
Ability to train new mechanics
Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended workdays
