OTHER DUTIES Travel to other company shop locations when staff is needed React to change productivity and handle other essential tasks as assigned Qualifications Two years' verifiable experience in tractor and trailer inspection and repair OR a technical school degree, or certification in Heavy Duty Truck/Trailer Maintenance with one verifiable experience; A valid state-issued driver's license; Must pass DOT physical and drug screen; A CDL, ASE and State and/or Federal inspection certification is preferred but not required; Command of English language to communicate effectively with internal and external customers; Knowledge of methods, materials, tools and techniques used in the repair and maintain a variety of heavy trucks and semi-trailers and other mechanical equipment is required; Basic hand tools are required; Must have working knowledge of the operating principles of diesel engines and repair of heavy trucks; Ability to maintain detailed time and parts used on work orders Must possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to communicate to both internal and external customers Computer skills needed for diagnostics. Your responsibilities may include (but are not limited to): Aircraft Diagnostics & Repair: Troubleshoot and repair systems on jet, turboprop, and piston multi-engine aircraft to ensure flight readiness and reliability Engine & Component Maintenance: Replace or repair critical engine components and accessories including fuel systems, pumps, generators, and hydraulics Safety & Compliance: Maintain aircraft to the highest safety standards, performing FAA-regulated inspections and system modifications Testing & Troubleshooting: Conduct engine runs, instrument checks, and flight-based diagnostics to identify and resolve mechanical issues Qualifications What you need to be successful: High school education or GED required A&P License Required In lieu of A&P license must have DD214 form to be reviewed and eligible for company - sponsored technical certification and future license achievement.
