The most common degree for diesel technicians is associate degree with 38% graduates, with only 27% diesel technician graduates earning high school diploma. Diesel technicians who decided to graduate from college often finish University of Northwestern Ohio or University of Phoenix. Some good skills to have in this position include cdl, customer service and preventative maintenance.
