Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate manual machining equipment (mills, lathes, grinders) Select and secure fixtures, accessories, and materials Calculate machining factors (speed, feed, depth, angle, coolant flow) Inspect and maintain cutting tools and machine components Use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, depth gauges) Document inspections and maintain accurate records Perform machine maintenance and coolant replacement Maintain a clean and safe work area Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required Machine shop apprentice certificate or 5 years of relevant experience Strong understanding of trim die assemblies and inspection procedures Basic math skills including geometry and algebra Ability to read blueprints and technical documents Good attendance and communication skills Detail-oriented and quality-conscious Work Environment & Physical Demands: Exposure to noise, heat, fumes, and moving mechanical parts Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods Use of PPE required (safety glasses, footwear, etc.) Repetitive motions and strong hand/finger dexterity required Pre-employment drug screen and background check required Anchor Packaging is an Equal Opportunity Employer and an E-Verify participant This is a Safety Sensitive Position under Arkansas's Medicinal Marijuana Provisions
