This position focuses on habitability improvements, including laminate work, decorative trim, marine furniture installation, bulkhead systems, false overhead systems and finishing details in premium spaces such as Captains Staterooms, Wardrooms, XO/CO cabins, and Flag Officer offices. Duties & Responsibilities Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and always adhere to all OSHA safety standards and Tcnico safety policies. Must adhere to all applicable safety, technical, and regulatory guidelines, including but not limited to: Company policies and procedures Local, state, and federal regulations ABS, NAVSEA Standard Items, and MSC GTRs MIL-STD (e.g., 1689-A, 2035) General Specifications for Overhaul of Ships OSHA 2268 Install various sheet metal outfitting components, including but not limited to bunks, lockers, desks, shelves and chairs.
