Determine unit condition by conducting inspections & diagnostic test, identifying deficiencies.
Test equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications; make necessary adjustments if required.
Perform other routine maintenance work on equipment and vehicles.
Maintain cost efficiency by using warranty, evaluating service & parts options.
Maintain vehicle records with an accurate documentation of service and repairs.
Complete engine overhauls as well as other repairs identified during the diagnostic process.
Read schematics for electrical and air systems.
Use good judgment to maintain a safe & organized work environment.

Apply knowledge and work in accordance with DOT, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and other rules and regulations as required.
