Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Food Preparation & Service: Assist with meal prep, tray assembly, and food delivery while following sanitation and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver meals to residents who dine in their rooms when needed
Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, and help maintain kitchen cleanliness
Follow special dietary instructions under the guidance of dietary staff or nursing
Monitor food inventory and notify supervisor of supply needs
Provide friendly and respectful customer service to residents and visitors

Qualifications/Skills Needed: The successful candidate must have experience in food preparation work in a service environment is preferred. Strong verbal and written communications skills are essential. Demonstrated support and understanding of the philosophy of Morning Pointe and the five domains of health (physical, emotional, spiritual, intellectual, and social) is required. A flexible work schedule is also a necessity.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
* Work with the entire Morning Pointe team to build relationships and strong communication with residents and families to ensure adjustment to the community, identification of needs and problems, and the development of an appropriate plan of service for each individual resident.

* Brew coffee and tea and serve as requested. Serve water and juice as requested.
