In this role, the successful candidate Performs various duties related to the preparation and service of food to cafeteria, lobby cafe or catering customers, as assigned. Maintains all areas in a clean, orderly, and sanitary manner. Restocks all areas with required supplies. Assists in setting up room and/or food displays and serving for catering functions, as needed. Job Responsibilities: Performs other duties as assigned Prepares and serve foods at various stations as assigned and adheres to proper portion control when serving meals. Insures availability of food items by restocking all areas with required supplies at all times to avoid interruptions in service. Sets up and maintains work area in a neat and sanitary manner, adhering to departmental sanitation guidelines when cleaning counters, equipment, etc. Greets and serves food to customers in a positive and professional manner to provide optimal customer service. Operates cash register in accordance with departmental procedures and maintains record of sales at each meal for departmental financial records. Prepares and serves food for catering functions, as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a High School or GED. Ability read well and write legibly. Ability to communicate well verbally. Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions. Preferred Qualifications: 1- 2 years In Food Service or Retail Operations.
