About the Dietary Aide Position: If you are friendly, sociable, love the elderly, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this may be a job for you! The Dietary Aide participates in all aspects of meal service in Monticello Skilled Care and Personal Care areas, including food preparation, service, and clean-up in accordance with established regulations and facility policies and procedures. Part-time Description Part-Time Dietary Aide Little Flower Manor is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to join our team. The primary purpose of this position is to perform the day-to-day activities of the Dietary Department in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, and as directed by the Director of Dietary. Starting rate: $14.00-$16.00 per hour, depending on experience. Responsibilities: Perform daily dietary functions and specific tasks as assigned. Work with the Dietary Manager to implement necessary changes. Clean floors by sweeping, dusting, and mopping. Clean and properly store equipment at the end of each shift. Dispose of refuse daily according to sanitation procedures. Report all accidents, incidents, hazardous conditions, and malfunctioning equipment to your supervisor immediately. Maintain work areas in a clean, safe, and attractive manner. Maintain confidentiality of resident information. Assist in the evacuation of residents if needed. Requirements Must possess a minimum of a 10th-grade education No prior experience is required, as on-the-job training is provided. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. Must be able to work harmoniously with others. Must be able to follow written and oral instructions. Must be able to lift a maximum of 20 pounds and push/pull equipment in excess of 50 pounds. Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
