Overview: A Kolter Hospitality Kitchen Aide uses innovation and delivers service excellence to our guests. This position is responsible for preparing quality food in a safe and efficient manner in compliance with proper food handling techniques.

Performance Expectations:
Prepare all food items in an efficient and timely manner adhering to proper food handling techniques and or standards.
Follow recipes to control production and maintain consistency and freshness.
Ensure efficient flow of food dishes with an emphasis on portion control, quality, presentation, and temperature control.
Break down and store all leftovers, in accordance with established procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized environment following daily sanitation checklists, and practice “clean as you go” procedures.
Maintain all perishables at the proper temperature.
Assist in prep work as required for the next shift.
Assist with inventory and production charts.
Put away stock when necessary, using FIFO (first in, first out).
Report any equipment or items in need of repair.
Follow all safety procedures while working.

Dietary Cook Job Summary:
The Dietary Cook is responsible for preparing and providing food services to residents in a cost-efficient manner to safely meet residents' need in compliance with federal, state and local requirements.
Dietary Cook Major Duties and Critical Tasks:
Prepare and serve meals for residents and staff in accordance with food safety regulations and within physician's/nutritionists' dietary recommendations
Maintain high standard of food preparation, sanitation, storage, and portion control
Determine food and supplies needed for daily menus; obtain supplies in time for adequate production
Plan food production to coordinate with meal serving hours so that quality, temperature, and appearance of food is preserved
Assist in scheduled cleaning duties following established sanitary standards
