What You'll Do
Prepares salads, appetizers, sandwiches, other cold dishes and therapeutic meals. Delivers meals to health care residents.

Responsibilities
Prepares sandwiches, salads, soups, beverages, salad dressings, breakfast fruit, cold desserts, garnishes and hors d'oeuvres.
Prepares therapeutic meals for special diets and special resident requests.
Portions and arranges food, sauces and dressings.
Apportions and places food servings on plates and trays according to diet list on menu card.
Places appropriate utensils, napkins and condiments on trays.
Examines filled trays for accuracy and completeness, and places on cart or dumbwaiter.
Delivers food carts to Health Care Center.
Serves trays to independent living residents.
Collects dirty dishes and returns cart to kitchen.
Cleans work areas, tables, cabinets and carts.
Collects and places garbage and trash in designated containers.
Maintains assigned workstation, supplies and equipment in a safe and sanitary condition, and ensures all infection control policies and procedures are met at all times.
