Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Manage and maintain recipes in ESHA Genesis
Ensure accuracy of nutrition and allergen data
Monitor FDA and local menu labeling regulations
Collaborate with QA, R&D, and Marketing teams
Support monthly LTO launches and data validation
Review training materials for allergen accuracy
Track policy changes impacting menu compliance
Attend cross-functional meetings for data updates
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Fluent in ESHA Genesis R&D
Knowledge of FDA menu labeling laws
Experience in QSR or fast-casual settings
Detail-oriented with strong collaboration skills
Proficient in Excel and document control systems

Food Preparation, Serving and Cleaning
Assist in the preparation and serving of meals and snacks.
Assist in checking trays for menu and diet preferences and accuracy.

Set up serving line with cold foods, condiments, serving containers, dishes, silverware, etc. according to the menus and as instructed.
Work on central tray service line, placing appropriate food on general and modified diet trays, as directed.

Attend in-service education programs in order to meet facility educational requirements.
Be familiar with Standard Precautions, Exposure Control Plan, Fire Drill and Evacuation Procedures and know how to use the information.
Maintain confidentiality of resident and facility records/information.
Protect residents from neglect, mistreatment, and abuse.
Protect the personal property of the residents of the facility.
Others as directed by the supervisor or administrator.
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience in hospital or skilled nursing facility dietary department preferred.
Organized and detailed in work performance.
Good communication skills with excellent self-discipline and patience.
Genuine caring for and interest in elderly and disabled people in a nursing facility.
Comply with the Residents' Rights and Facility Policies and Procedures.
Perform work tasks within the physical demand requirements as outlined below.

Title: Assistant, Food Service
Under direct supervision, prepares meals for recipients of DeKalb County School District's (DCSD) school nutrition program and assists with daily cleaning of food service area.
Essential Functions:

• Prepares and serves breakfast, lunch and after-school snacks for DCSD students and staff.
• Works with managers to ensure the meal management is accurate.
• Implements sanitation and safety procedures in receiving, preparing, storing and serving food.
• Cleans equipment; maintains cleanliness of work area.
• Serves as cashier; enters cash and check deposits from meal purchases into the system; calculates total payments received during shift and reconciles with total sales.
• Communicates with students and parents about lunch accounts.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Minimum of one (1) year of closely related experience is preferred.
• Experience in institutional food service is preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, PERMITS:
• DeKalb County School System Nutrition Credential must be obtained within one year of employment and must be valid throughout duration of employment [Renewal every three (3) years].
• Orientation for Nutrition Employees training must be successfully completed in accordance with Georgia Department of Education requirements.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
May require:
• Knowledge of nutrition; food handling; preparation; service and sanitation; and all related and established policies and procedures.
• Skill in oral and interpersonal communications; inventorying and ordering food service supplies; identifying equipment problems and furthering service requests.
