Your Role as a Dietary Services Aide
We are looking for a dedicated Dietary Services Aide to join our team and assist in preparing and serving food to residents, family members, visitors, and staff in a skilled nursing setting. This role ensures accurate meal service according to specific diets and helps maintain a clean and safe working environment.
What You'll Do:
Assist in food preparation for residents, visitors, and staff, including special activities.
Attend and serve food during in-service or staff meetings as requested.
Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment while maintaining sanitary conditions.
Set and clear tables before and after meals.
Maintain a safe and clean work area, following health and safety regulations.

Physical Demands:
Standing, sitting, walking, and changing positions frequently.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

Purpose Statement
The job of Prep Assistant was established for the purpose/s of providing support to the food service activities at unassigned location with specific responsibilities for preparing and serving food items to students and/or school personnel; and maintaining food service facilities in a safe and sanitary condition.

Essential Functions
Arranges food, beverages, condiments and serving items prior to serving meals for the purpose of ensuring their availability to students and staff.
