Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with kitchen staff and dining services team to ensure accurate food preparation and service. Report any issues or concerns regarding food quality, safety, or resident satisfaction to the Dining Services Manager. Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all food safety guidelines, sanitation standards, and health regulations in the preparation, service, and storage of food. Ensure proper use of food handling equipment and utensils to maintain hygiene. Additional Duties: Assist with inventory and food stock as needed. Attend training sessions or meetings as required. Provide assistance with special events or seasonal meal services, as directed. Qualifications: Experience: Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or a similar setting is preferred, but not required. On-the-job training will be provided. About the Dietary Aide Position: If you are friendly, sociable, love the elderly, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this may be a job for you! The Dietary Aide participates in all aspects of meal service in Monticello Skilled Care and Personal Care areas, including food preparation, service, and clean-up in accordance with established regulations and facility policies and procedures. Safe food handling, correct portion size, and quality service techniques for the dining room and room trays will be followed. He/she ensures that food is attractive and palatable and is served in correct portion sizes at proper temperatures according to physician-specified diet orders.
