Department: Dietary Accountable to: Dietary Manager *$1,000 sign-on bonus available for qualified applicants with a one-year employment commitment to Courtyard Villa Assisted Living.* Scope of Responsibility: Perform general aide duties for a health food department. Under general supervision will verify meals to be delivered for Meals on Wheels sites and homes, hospital patients and employees, and assisted living residents. Essential Duties: Read communication book. First put hairnet on and wash hands. Set up dish room- tub for silverware, tub for dishes. Wash tables before setting, wash dishes, clean as needed. Set tables- napkin or tablecloth, fork, spoon, knife, soup spoon- place under flap of napkin (depending on meal- ask cook). Check and fill salt and pepper containers, sugar, jelly, etc. Set out ice water Serve special drinks and regular drinks first, going by table number of the day, then help cook deliver rest of dinner plates. Help clear tables/ wipe tables. Wash dishes- make sure to write temp down and do test strip at the end of doing dishes. Take out garbage. Sweep dining room and kitchen. Mop kitchen floors.
