It’s the story of how a small, privately-owned company in 1972 continued to rapidly grow and evolve into a $3 billion corporation.
Larson told me that he got involved with the company in 1976 when company sales were around $800,000 and they had about 14 employees.
For the first 10 years, the company focused marketing on the electronic hobbyist, but then they started directing catalog mailings to the commercial market in 1982.
The PDC is expected to be fully operational in the summer of 2021, and it will feature more than 25 miles of automated conveyor belts and 55 dock doors.
