The Digital Communications Specialist helps plan and implement a multidimensional communications strategy to inform, engage, and inspire University Relations colleagues.

In this role, you will leverage your creativity, design skills, and ability to create and edit video every day to promote information sharing and collaboration across teams and across campus. You will also focus on timeliness, accessibility, message clarity and cross-channel consistency on all internal communications, including but not limited to: the newsletter, web applications, infographic design, email design, social media, and print design. You will serve as a creative thinker on the Internal Engagement team, researching and sharing best practices related to internal communications and employee engagement. Core Activities:

VISUAL CONTENT CREATION

* Lead strategy for visual storytelling campaigns related to internal communications
* Ensure content is inclusive and supportive of the Diversity and Inclusion initiatives of the University of Notre Dame
* Book, film, and edit video segments for internal engagement, including employee features, holiday campaigns, and leadership addresses
* Book, shoot, and edit new employee headshots in partnership with the Onboarding team
* Create and execute branding around internal engagement programming

INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS

* Redesign and test a mobile-friendly version of the departmental newsletter
* Compose and edit copy for email, website and social media distribution
* Plan and execute social media and outreach campaigns that connect with and engage employees
* Utilize technology to improve the clarity and effectiveness of digital communications through the use of A/B testing and industry best practices
* Capture and analyze reader and usage data across platforms

INTRANET LIAISON

* Lead discussions with IT partners and potential 3rd party vendors on how we can improve the design, user interface, and data storage within our UR intranet
* Interface with Training/Onboarding partners to ensure timely and accurate updates on information housed within the intranet

POSITION MANDATE
Resonance is seeking a mid- to senior-level communications specialist who will be key staff on the anticipated USAID Digital Strategy & Implementation Programs Activity.The activity will build the capacity of USAID Missions, Washington Operating Units (OUs), and partners to advance digital initiatives that enhance security and economic prosperity in partner countries while safeguarding individual rights, freedom of expression, and democratic norms and practices.The mechanism would advance the research, training, strategic thinking, digital-sector partnerships, and behavior change that will equip USAID for the digital age through one or more awards. It would also foster the effective and responsible use of digital technology across all technical and regional sectors, and support the growth of open, inclusive, and secure digital ecosystems in partner countries.

This is a full-time position based in Washington, D.C. and contingent upon contract award.
OUTCOMES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSLead communications components of contract activities Work across multiple media to produce strategic documents, resources, and training resources for buy-in clients Develop and spearhead knowledge management for project activities Collaborate closely with other key staff on project leadership, adaptation, and continuous learning
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCEA bachelor's degree in a relevant technical area required, with a master'sdegree preferred in international communications, business administration, international development, or a similar technical area. A minimum of ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in communications, preferably in the fields of development, technology, cybersecurity, and/or digitalization. Demonstrated experience in multimedia and graphic design, and excellence in English written and oral communication and editing. Demonstrated ability to translate complex policy, technology, and international development concepts into high quality multimedia products. Demonstrated experience curating knowledge management for multi-stakeholder groups Demonstrated experience in working with senior leadership in both the public and private sectors Demonstrated experience and comfort with intercultural communication and environments.
PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCEPrior experience with communications on USG-funded projects and activities, including knowledge and experience with USAID Branding and Marking Guidelines Experience and/or strong familiarity with cocreation methods, stakeholder engagement, human centered design, managing/forming/facilitating communities of practice, and Collaborating, Learning, and Adapting. Proficiency in a foreign language, including French, Spanish, or other. Experience living and working outside the US.
TRAVEL EXPECTATIONS
Occasional travel may be necessary.

U.S. work authorization is required.

SALARY RANGE
USD 95,000 - USD 120,000 / year

In this role you will deliver outstanding service to customers contacting Umpqua via phone, digital, or Go-To contact channels. You will assist customer with reporting fraud, filing disputes, resolving issues, providing information, and looking for opportunities to strengthen the customer relationship through suggesting Umpqua products and services.
Functions

* Respond to inbound calls regarding fraud and electronic disputes, complete fraud incident reports, and dispute forms, clear fraud alerts on cards, and other more complex card issues. Ensure all accounts are noted and protected against additional fraud, restricting accounts, Online Banking, and cards when needed.
* Complete debit card limit increases over the phone, using DocuSign per department policy to ensure the protection and security of the account.
* Resolve customer problems such as debit card issues, account overdrafts, online/mobile banking issues, and service charge questions.
* Perform a variety of transactions and maintenance on the customer's behalf such as funds transfers, stop payments, debit card increases, address changes and check orders.
* Suggest appropriate products and services to existing customers and cross-sells other bank services such as Visa Credit Cards.
* May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert.
