The Role
The Growth Marketing function at Gigs is focused on scaling our company by driving product adoption, and revenue, by using a data-driven approach to messaging, GTM, and campaigns. What you will do
Drive consumer love and business impact: Serve as the connective tissue across internal teams (Design, Product, and GTM) and our customers' Marketing and GTM teams to deliver strong launches and sustained end user growth
Develop revenue-driving partner: Co-create campaigns and content with our partners, reaching the consumers buying phone plans through our customers' apps, with a sharp focus on messaging that moves key metrics like activation and retention.
Inform GTM strategy and analytics: Shape GTM and consumer acquisition strategies using internal data and market insights. Build and operationalize measurement to effectively reach and understand US audiences.
Scale our partner marketing engine post-launch: Partner closely with Gigs teams and customers to evolve launch campaigns into always-on programs, maintaining momentum well beyond day one.

This role will report to the Senior Manager of Performance Marketing and will oversee a portion of our paid social media budget, leading all aspects of campaign optimization and creative strategy.
The ideal candidate should be both analytical and imaginative, capable of delving deeply into performance data to drive optimizations and concepting engaging ad creatives that convert effectively. This role is highly cross-functional and requires a collaborative approach to working with a range of partners including Creative, Analytics, Product Marketing, Legal, and Medical teams.
What You'll Do:
Lead Paid Social strategy and execution for a portion of our business, with day-to-day responsibilities including campaign optimization, bid management, budget allocation, performance monitoring, testing, etc
Oversee paid social creative process, from new ad concept development & briefing to handoff & refinement, to generate a high volume of ad creatives to fuel our paid social channels
Partner with our influencer marketing team to create UGC ads that convert
Leverage external creative agencies as needed to augment our ad creation capacity, managing both external communications and internal coordination
Analyze performance data and metrics to identify media, creative, and landing page opportunities
Collaborate with Product Marketing and business unit stakeholders to test and expand our messaging and claims strategy
Regularly conduct competitive analysis and market research to inform creative and campaign strategy
Stay up-to-date on platform updates and algorithm changes to inform campaign and bid optimization
Collaborate with wider paid media and conversion optimization teams to drive iterative testing of landing pages and paid social conversion flows
Monitor and report on KPIs and campaign performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders
Align with medical and legal teams on any policy or regulatory changes, updating the paid social funnel as needed
Foster relationships with cross-functional partners, such as business stakeholders, technology partners, and data teams
What You'll Bring:
At least 3-5 years of experience as a paid social operator with a solid understanding of the Facebook/Instagram ecosystem (familiarity with channels like Snapchat, TikTok and Reddit is a huge plus, but not required)
Exceptional creative intuition, you instinctively know how and why an ad is engaging and the type of behavior it can drive
Proven experience in creative testing and iteration, including designing test frameworks (e.g. concept tests, hooks, CTAs) and scaling high-performing ads
Demonstrated ability to concept, storyboard, and brief video ads and UGC content
Strong analytical skills, with prior experience unpacking learnings from tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Omniture, etc
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Near pixel-perfect attention to detail. Comfort in collaborating cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment

Strategy & Planning
Define strategy for customer marketing across channels to accelerate expansion for our Fund Admin business
Prioritize the customer experience within campaign strategies in demonstrable ways

Own the execution of upsell and cross-sell programs for Fund Tax, Fund Forecasting, Valuations, Manco, and future priority add‑on products
Lead with an integrated marketing approach inclusive of content, events (live/webinar), paid, and customer comms to drive expansion and retention
Collaborate across Sales, Product, Product Marketing, Account Management, Lifecycle, Marketing Ops and other internal marketing partners to develop impactful and timely upsell campaigns that map to the customer journey and relevant personas
Partner with Product, Product Marketing, Engineering, and Lifecycle teams to build and scale in‑product discovery campaigns that influence upsell across the customer journey
Leverage account‑based marketing (ABM) to identify expansion opportunities, deliver personalized campaigns, and drive deeper engagement within key customer accounts
Identify opportunities to optimize marketing workflows and increase execution speed by using AI and automation platforms to streamline campaign planning, production, and performance management
Take a lead role in generating demand from customer‑focused product launches

You'll be joining Marketing, as part of our Product and Customer Marketing team. Marketing is the engine for growth at Carta. As a Lead Customer MarketingManager, you'll partner closely across Product Marketing, Lifecycle, and Integrated Marketing to build a connected customer demand engine. You'll translate product strategy and customer insights into coordinated multi‑channel expansion campaigns and shape in‑product discovery experiences that drive engagement and upsell. Through tight alignment across R&D and GTM, you'll introduce automation and personalization into the customer journey with the goal of scaling programs that unlock growth for Fund Admin customers.
About You
5+ years of customer or growth marketing experience, preferably in SaaS, or 7+ years in outbound marketing recommended
Experience partnering cross‑functionally across Product, Product Marketing, Sales, Account Management, Lifecycle, and Marketing Ops to drive measurable business results
Comfortable designing multi‑channel GTM motions, including in‑product, email nurtures, events (virtual and in‑person), paid social, and targeted outbound campaigns
Ability to build and scale automated programs using trigger and workflows
Customer obsessed, data driven, and fluent using insights to shape priorities and optimize campaigns
Thrives in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment with a strong bias toward action and continued improvement
Financial services or Private Capital background a plus

Carta's compensation package includes a market competitive salary, equity for all full‑time roles, exceptional benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans. Our minimum cash compensation (salary + commission if applicable) range for this role is:
$176,800 - $208,000 in San Francisco, CA and New York, NY
$167,960 - $197,600 in Seattle, WA
