Phoenix Contact's Creative Services Team is looking for a Spring 2023 intern to assist in video production, capturing, and editing content. You will build graphics and animation sequences for video series, meetings, and social media.

Our Spring interns work part time, with their schedule based around their coursework. The intern should be able to continue the internship into Summer 2023 and Fall 2023.

What does a typical day look like?

It can include one task or all during a work day: Capturing Video Footage, Organizing and Archiving Footage, Editing, Creating Social Media Video, Creating Video Animation, Preparing and Pack for Video Shoot, and Maintain Studio and Equipment.

KNOW HOW/ QUALIFICATIONS


Flexibility and curiosity: What follow these qualifications are ideal qualities and skills; the candidate is expected to bring some but not all of them. What fills the gap is initiative, flexibility, high energy, creativity and a healthy curiosity to learn.

Working knowledge of how to post content (primarily videos, but also photos and text) on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Tik Tok.

Shooting and editing video content.

Scheduling and time-management skills: able to pick up projects each week after possibly several days of not working on them and moving them forward and ultimately to completion.

Good interpersonal communication skills: keeping fellow leadership apprised of project status.

At least sophomore status in an academic program/major that is preparing this individual for a career in marketing and/or communications.


INTERNSHIP PARAMETERS



10-12 weeks with minimum of 15 hours of work weekly (subject to change) Transportation: this intern is responsible for getting to the Jackson Hewitt's main office in Toledo as needed, some light travel may be necessary (mileage reimbursement) Mobile phone on which business can be conducted
