This is a rare opportunity to gain hands-on experience at the heart of francesca's storytelling - where creativity, community, and connection come together. The Marketing Intern will play an active role in bringing our brand to life across social media, influencer partnerships, events, and public relations.
We're not looking for someone to simply assist with tasks - we're looking for a curious, driven, and creative thinker who wants to learn the inner workings of a fast-paced retail brand. Someone who's passionate about social media and storytelling, eager to roll up their sleeves, and ready to make an impact.
This is a part-time internship running through Summer 2026, with flexibility to work remotely and the expectation to be in the Houston office as needed and support local brand events.
What You'll Own:
Social Media & Community:
Support social media content creation and scheduling, ensuring alignment with francesca's brand voice and aesthetic.
Help manage daily community engagement by monitoring and responding to DMs and comments to build authentic connections with our audience.
Influencer & Gifting Programs:
Assist in building influencer lookbooks and coordinating gifting campaigns to grow francesca's ambassador and influencer network.
Track product sends, monitor responses, and maintain organized communication with influencer partners.
Events & Brand Activation:
Support the planning and execution of in-boutique and brand events, helping to bring the francesca's experience to life in local markets.
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure flawless execution and on-brand storytelling at every touchpoint.
Public Relations:
Partner with PR teams on sample requests, product placements, and tracking media features.
Help organize and maintain the brand's press and media assets.
What You Bring:
Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field, or are a recent graduate.
Passion for fashion, retail, and storytelling through social and digital channels.
Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills.
Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest) and emerging digital trends.
Creative eye for aesthetics, photography, and content creation.
Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.

Louisiana Key Academy (LKA) is a growing network of public charter schools, founded in Baton Rouge, that utilizes an innovative, evidence-based model to serve students with dyslexia. Founded by two parents of dyslexic students, we are passionate about our vision of all children having the tools they need to thrive. We believe that dyslexics should be identified early and given the education necessary to reach their full potential. LKA is a champion for dyslexics as they engage in an excellent and accessible education.
The Internship Opportunity:
We are seeking a creative and driven Marketing Communications Intern to support our efforts in expanding brand awareness, community engagement, and outreach. The intern will work directly with school leadership and communications staff to enhance the visibility of LKA's mission and programs across Louisiana. This is a paid, part-time internship with flexible hours and remote participation available.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in developing and implementing social media content across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn)
Support the creation of marketing materials such as flyers, newsletters, and promotional content
Contribute to website updates and blog content to engage prospective families and the community
Research and identify community engagement opportunities, including local events and partnership possibilities
Track and report basic analytics for social media and marketing campaigns
Assist in the development of email marketing campaigns and outreach lists
Collaborate with leadership to promote key school events, initiatives, and success stories
