Role Description
The Print Operator is an on-site, full-time role based in Cleveland, OH. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining printing equipment, monitoring print production processes, and ensuring high-quality output. Day-to-day tasks involve handling bindery processes, troubleshooting printer issues, and adhering to quality control standards. The Print Operator will also collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production workflows and meet project deadlines.
Qualifications
Experience with Print Production, Printing, and related processes
Skills in operating Bindery equipment and performing related tasks
Proficiency in Printer Support and troubleshooting for a variety of equipment
Strong attention to detail and prior experience with Quality Control procedures
Ability to work effectively in an on-site, team-oriented environment
Good organizational and time management skills
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is a plus
Digital Print Press Operator 2nd Shift (Large Format / Signage) - Cincinnati, OH

The 2nd Shift Digital Print Operator plays a key role in our production team, operating and maintaining large-format digital imaging presses used for signage, décor, and custom display projects. This hands-on role ensures every printed piece meets color, quality, and performance standards-supporting projects for some of the nation's top retail brands. Core Responsibilities
• Set up, operate, and maintain large-format digital presses (4/8-color).
• Process and RIP print files from pre-press using Fiery or Onyx software.
• Review proofs and final samples to ensure color accuracy and quality compliance.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and log service activity for all equipment.
• Troubleshoot printing and color management issues using equipment data and visual inspection.
• Maintain organized workflow and communication with production and finishing teams.
• Develop strong knowledge of substrates, inks, adhesives, and printing materials.
• Uphold CIP's high standards for safety, precision, and craftsmanship.
Additional Responsibilities
• Support other manufacturing or finishing operations as required.
• Adhere to all company policies, safety standards, and quality expectations.
• Foster a collaborative, solutions-oriented team environment.
Requirements
• 2+ years of experience operating digital or large-format printing equipment (preferred).
• Proficiency with RIP software (Fiery, Onyx, or similar).
• Strong ability to evaluate color consistency, alignment, and print quality.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, layouts, and production schedules.
• Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical printing coursework a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
Physical Requirements
• Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Extended standing, bending, and reaching.
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
Work Environment
• Manufacturing floor with exposure to machinery noise, inks, and moving equipment.

Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES and AUTHORITY:
Responsible for monitoring and insuring quality of containers and lids per specifications
Responsible for following all plant Life Saving Behaviors
Responsible for following any safety guidelines the department has in place
Responsible for reporting any injuries or unsafe acts immediately to designated staff (leadership team, HR etc.)
Responsible for maintaining a high level of housekeeping in and around work area throughout the course of the shift
Perform miscellaneous tasks for Printing Department or other departments as needed
Clean and make minor adjustments to machine and auxiliary equipment during production run to insure parts meet specification
Complete paperwork during the shift or at the end of a shift as required
Other duties as established by Printing Manager or Group Leader
If at any time a customer's quality expectations are not being met the operator has the authority to shut the press down and call technical staff for assistance
Printing Operators have the authority to make minor adjustments to color and change blankets during a production run when proper training has been established
All Printing Operators have the authority to stop production if they feel working conditions are hazardous or unsafe for either themselves or a coworker
Follow all GMP, SQF and ISO standards
