We are expanding! Digital Realty is looking for multiple Remote Hands Technicians in the Northern VA area. We have multiple levels open and will be hiring Technician I and Technician II. All shifts are available including overnight and evenings. Technician I Digital Realty is looking for people with the right attitude and aptitude to learn in our Data Centers. A basic knowledge of fiber and copper cabling, networking and server components, would be the best fit for this role. Technician II Digital Realty is looking for Technicians with experience in Data Centers. Experience in layer 2 and 3 networking skills would be a great match for this role. Customer Service skills and experience with customers and vendors would also be a plus. What you'll do * Perform Remote Hands services which are tracked through the Digital Realty ticketing system. Sr. Mechanical Engineer Your role The Sr. Mechanical Engineer will partner with Regional Management and Global peers to help drive a customer and employee-focused culture of safety, operational excellence, and consistency across Digital Realty's global footprint. The role will be responsible for developing and implementing global standards and processes to align technical and engineering operations across Digital Realty's global data center portfolio. Technician III Your role The Remote Hands Technician III will assist all Digital Realty customers by providing "best in class" customer and technical support. The Remote Hands Technician III will serve as an immediate point of contact for tasks assigned to the site. The Remote Hands Technician III will work with and support all Digital Realty customer demands which may include racking and stacking of equipment, cabling, cross connects, etc. Internally, the Remote Hands Technician III may work with the Deployment and Implementation teams, the Command Center, Provisioning team and Project Management to ensure relevant installations meet delivery dates and create a positive customer experience. The Remote Hands Technician III will be responsible for racking and stacking network devices, cabling, terminating, testing, labeling and troubleshooting of copper and fiber optic homeruns and cross-connects while responding to Customer Requests within the agreed Service Level Agreement time frame. The Remote Hands Technician III will also provide assistance to other members of the Operations team to ensure 100% uptime of all customers and critical infrastructure. Job Summary The Senior Construction Project Manager is within the Global Design and Construction team (over 200 people) who deliver over 70 projects globally per year (in excess of $2B capex). This role will support both expansion and ground up construction of data centers in the Ashburn, VA region. Directs day to day activities and operations of a team of Construction/Operation Project Managers. Mentors junior team members and makes strong tactical decisions to resolve project issues. Manages Construction project costs, methods, and project team selection to meet project schedules and goals while working in a multi-faceted environment. Overview Responsible in all aspects of data center construction for respective projects from project inception, through design, procurement, construction, commissioning and hand-over of an operating facility, that could include ground up construction, fit-outs, remodels, etc. The Project Manager may be responsible for one or more smaller projects or a single, extensive project and will direct all partners, internal (Design, Procurement, Operations, Security and IT/Network) as well as external vendors comprising Contractors, design teams, commissioning agents, equipment suppliers, etc. Responsible for driving a safe, quality first culture, ensuring that all applicable codes, standards, and good construction practices are followed. Lead Engineer Your role We are hiring a Lead Engineer, the role will give you the opportunity to expand your skills and experience working on mission critical infrastructure facilities operations for the largest wholesale data center provider in the world. What you'll do As a Lead Engineer, you'll work with your peers to ensure coverage 365 days per year, 7 days per week, 24 hours per day.
