    **Job Summary and Responsibilities** As our Scheduler, you will orchestrate a seamless and efficient care process for patients and providers by coordinating appointments and managing schedules. Every day you will schedule patient appointments and coordinate multiple provider schedules for medical procedures, tests, and studies. You'll ensure timely scheduling through effective communication, accurately gather and verify patient insurance and documentation, process reports, and provide exceptional customer service to patients via phone and in-clinic assistance. To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate strong attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and excellent communication and reasoning skills to manage scheduling complexities and patient inquiries, always striving for accuracy and efficiency. + Answers telephone calls or responds to phone inquiries in a timely manner to ensure efficient departmental operations + Ensures that all procedure appointments are scheduled accurately and legibly while assuring timeliness of the appointment + Gathers acceptable diagnosis for procedures and informs offices if a diagnosis is not acceptable + Ensures appropriate resources are attached to procedures and if scheduling conflicts occur will assist in solving the conflict + Communicates effectively with the team leaders, team members, anesthesiologist, patients, physicians and physician staff to ensure efficient departmental operations + Verifies patient appointments are complete and accurate which includes ensuring that all appropriate departments are notified of same day add-ons.
