WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
The MDS Coordinator (RN) is responsible for overseeing the resident assessment and care planning process and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations related to resident assessments, quality of care and Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct and complete the Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessment to evaluate residents' physical, psychological and functional status, including the implementation of Care Area Assessments (CAA)s and triggers.
Evaluate each resident's condition and pertinent medical data to determine any need for special assessment activities or a need to amend the admission assessment.
Prepare and electronically transmit reports to the national Medicare and Medicaid databases.
Develop a written plan of care (preliminary and comprehensive) for each resident that identifies the problems/needs of the resident and the goals to be accomplished for each problem/need identified.
Provide information to residents/families on Medicare/Medicaid and other financial assistance programs available to the residents.
Ensure that MDS notes are informative and descriptive of the services provided and of the residents' response to the service.
Assist with completing the care plan portion of the resident's discharge plan. Evaluate and implement recommendations from established committees as they pertain to the assessment and/or care plan functions of the health campus.
Qualifications
Must have and maintain a current, valid state RN license
Three (3) to five (5) years' experience working in an MDS or assessment role in a senior residential care, healthcare, senior living industry or long-term care environment, preferred
Current, valid CPR certification required

Troubleshooting, testing, calibrating and repairing various types of electrical control circuits such as analog, digital, or distributed control systems and protective trip or interlock circuits. Must be adept at using a multimeter to perform these functions.
Running conduit: installing necessary clamps and supports; pulling conductors and making connections; locating trouble on power and control circuits and making necessary repairs.
Meggering and testing insulation resistance on electrical equipment; adjusting and renewing brushes on rotating equipment.
Repairing and adjusting various low and high pressure hydraulic and pneumatic control systems and components.
Installing new control equipment.
Working in close cooperation with employees of other departments, vendors and others for the purpose of troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying control systems and components.
Directing others in tests of equipment for performance, efficiency, or calibration purposes. Analyzing results of tests and making recommendations for optimum performance or repair of plant equipment.
Maintaining equipment associated with nuclear radioactive sources, running tests, and calibrating as required.
Maintaining software changes for process control systems.
Troubleshooting and making repairs to controls containing higher voltages such as exciters, uninterruptible power supplies, variable speed drives, etc.
Verifying field-marked process control system drawings prior to their submittal for changes.
Troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating Stack Gas Emission monitoring equipment such as Opacity monitors and Continuous Emission Monitors.

Instructing and training employees in any classification in their work.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have all the qualification of Maintenance Apprentice and, in addition:
Must have a minimum of 5 years of exposure to industrial instrumentation and controls and/or electrical systems
Must be able to work from specifications, detailed drawings and blueprints.
Must have a thorough knowledge of meters, gauges, and other instruments and controls, together with associated pneumatic, hydraulic or electrical connections; and a knowledge of the tools used in their maintenance, adjustment and repair.
Must be able to climb ladders and work at higher elevations on platforms, scaffolds, grating, etc. Must be able to work in all-weather climates and enter confined spaces.
Must be accurate in making wiring connections and capable of performing work in a neat and skillful manner.
